Kraton Performance Polymers Announces Sale of Compounding Business to PolyOne Corporation for $72 million

("Kraton") today announced that it has completed the sale of certain assets related to its compounding business to PolyOne Corporation (NYSE "POL") for $72 million in cash. Â In conjunction with the sale, Kraton and PolyOne have entered into a long term supply agreement, through which Kraton has exclusive supply rights for polymers used in the divested business.

February 3, 2016 6:45 AM UTCCLEVELAND, Feb. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Expanding on its global footprint and expertise in thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) innovation and design, PolyOne Corporation (NYSE: POL) today announced it has acquired certain technologies and assets from Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc. (NYSE: KRA). The two companies also entered into a supply agreement, whereby Kraton will provide PolyOne certain raw materials used in production for the acquired business.
