Jefferies Cuts Price Target on Praxair (PX) As FX Headwinds Effect EPS
February 1, 2016 9:09 AM ESTJefferies maintained a Buy rating on Praxair Inc. (NYSE: PX), and cut the price target to $115.00 (from $126.00), following the company's 4Q earnings report. Jefferies believes that, with FX headwinds pushing EPS towards 2011 levels, PX's 2016 performance hindges on new project announcements.

Praxair (PX) Reports In-Line Q4 EPS
January 29, 2016 6:02 AM ESTPraxair (NYSE: PX) reported Q4 EPS of $1.47, in-line with the analyst estimate of $1.47. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.66 billion.
GUIDANCE:
Praxair sees FY2016 EPS of $5.30-$5.70, versus the consensus of $3.06.
