Pamplona Capital to Acquire MedAssets (MDAS) in $2.7B Deal
November 2, 2015 8:04 AM UTCPamplona Capital Management (Pamplona) is pleased to announce it has agreed to acquire MedAssets (NASDAQ: MDAS), a leading healthcare performance improvement company that serves four out of every five hospitals in the United States. In addition, Pamplona has entered into a separate agreement with VHA-UHC Alliance NewCo, Inc. (VHA-UHC Alliance), the nations largest member-owned healthcare company, to divest MedAssets Spend and Clinical Resource Management (SCM) segment to VHA-UHC Alliance following the completion of Pamplonas acquisition of MedAssets.
