Virgin America (VA) Tops Q3 EPS by 8c
October 29, 2015 8:41 AM EDTVirgin America (NASDAQ: VA) reported Q3 EPS of $1.64, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $1.56. Revenue for the quarter came in at $410.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $406.28 million.
Revenue per Available Seat Mile (RASM): Passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) decreased 2.7 percent compared to the third quarter 2014, to 11.05 cents. Year-over-year PRASM decline was driven by a 1.0 point decrease in load factor and a 1.8 percent decrease in yield.
