THOMASVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. (NASDAQ: ODFL) today announced financial results for the three-month and nine-month periods ended September 30, 2015. Revenue increased 4.8% to $779.5 million for the third quarter of 2015 from $743.6 million for the third quarter of 2014. Net income rose 8.3% to $84.4 million for the third quarter of 2015 from $77.9 million for the third quarter last year, while earnings per diluted share increased 10.0% to $0.99 from $0.90 for the same prior-year quarter.
