October 19, 2015 6:30 AM EDTFAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GE (NYSE: GE) today commenced an offer to exchange GE common stock for common stock of Synchrony Financial (NYSE: SYF) presently owned by GE.
