BB&T reports 3rd quarter diluted EPS of $0.64; or $0.70 adjusted; Record assets exceed $200 billion
October 15, 2015 5:45 AM EDTWINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Oct. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --Â BB&T Corporation (NYSE: BBT) today reported quarterly earnings for the third quarter of 2015. Net income available to common shareholders was $492 million, compared to $512 million earned in the third quarter of 2014. Earnings per diluted common share totaled $0.64 for the quarter, compared to $0.70 for the third quarter of last year. Excluding merger-related and restructuring charges, net income available to common shareholders was $539 million, up 4.5% compared to $516 million earned in the third quarter of 2014.
