MedAssets (NASDAQ: MDAS) disclosed the following on Wednesday:
On September 28, 2015, MedAssets, Inc. (the Company) committed to implementing a cost reduction program in order to improve operating efficiency and align its cost structure commensurate with expected future net revenue.
As part of this cost reduction program, the Company plans to reduce its workforce by approximately 180 full-time employees, or about 5% of its total headcount by year-end 2015. Additionally, the Company plans to eliminate certain open full-time positions, close one office location and... More
