Worthington Reports First Quarter Fiscal 2016 Results

(NYSE: WOR) today reported net sales of $758.1 million and net earnings of $31.4 million, or $0.48 per diluted share, for its fiscal 2016 first quarter ended August 31, 2015, which included pre-tax impairment and restructuring charges totaling $6.1 million, reducing earnings per diluted share by $0.06. In last year's first quarter, the Company reported net sales of $862.4 million and net earnings of $44.2 million, or $0.63 per diluted share. September 23, 2015 2:00 PM EDTCOLUMBUS, OH -- (Marketwired) -- 09/23/15 -- The board of directors of Worthington Industries, Inc. (NYSE: WOR) has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.19 per share. The dividend is payable on December 29, 2015, to shareholders of record December 15, 2015. This marks the 192nd consecutive quarter that Worthington has paid a dividend since it became a public company in 1968.
