WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings Inc (NYSE: AJRD) submitted a $2 cash billion offer to buy United Launch Alliance (ULA), a satellite launch provider jointly held by Lockheed Martin Corp (NYSE: LMT) and Boeing Co (NYSE: BA), sources familiar with the matter said Tuesday, a deal that would further consolidate the space business.

MARINETTE, Wis. (Reuters) - Big investments, lean manufacturing techniques borrowed from the automotive industry, and a more engaged workforce have revamped the Wisconsin shipyard where Italy's Fincantieri SpA (NYSE: FCT) builds the Freedom variant of the U.S. Navy's coastal warships for prime contractor Lockheed Martin Corp (NYSE: LMT).
