Genesco Reports Second Quarter Fiscal 2016 Results
September 3, 2015 7:25 AM EDTNASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Genesco Inc. (NYSE: GCO) today reported earnings from continuing operations for the second quarter ended August 1, 2015, of $7.6 million, or $0.32 per diluted share, compared to earnings from continuing operations of $4.8 million, or $0.20 per diluted share, for the second quarter ended August 2, 2014. Fiscal 2016 second quarter results reflect pretax items of $1.8 million, or $0.04 per share after tax, including $0.6 million of expenses related to deferred purchase price payments in connection with the acquisition of Schuh Group Limited, which are required to be expensed as compensation because the payment is contingent...
