The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved Addyi (flibanserin) to treat acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) in premenopausal women. Prior to Addyis approval, there were no FDA-approved treatments for sexual desire disorders in men or women.
