Mercer International Inc. Reports 2015 Second Quarter Results and Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend of $0.115
July 30, 2015 4:30 PM EDTNEW YORK, July 30, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mercer International Inc. (Nasdaq: MERC) (TSX:MRI.U) today reported results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2015. Operating EBITDA* in the second quarter of 2015 was $50.0 million, compared to $41.9 million in the comparative quarter of 2014 and $61.3 million in the prior quarter of 2015.
For the second quarter of 2015, net income was $16.4 million, or $0.25 per basic and diluted share, compared to $0.6 million, or $0.01 per basic and diluted share, in the comparative quarter of 2014.
