Cowen Group (COWN) Misses Q2 EPS by 1c
July 30, 2015 8:09 AM EDTCowen Group (NASDAQ: COWN) reported Q2 EPS of $0.09, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter came in at $124.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $125.94 million.

July 30, 2015 8:00 AM EDTCowen Group (NASDAQ: COWN) and Conifer Securities, LLC (Conifer Securities) today announced the signing of a definitive agreement under which Cowen will acquire Conifer Securities, the prime services division of Conifer Financial Services LLC. The transaction, the terms of which have not yet been disclosed, was approved by the boards of directors of both companies. Cowen Group expects the acquisition to be accretive to earnings in 2015.
