Opus Bank Announces Second Quarter 2015 Results
July 27, 2015 7:00 AM EDTIRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Opus Bank ("Opus") (NASDAQ: OPB) announced today net income of $17.5 million, or $0.52 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2015 compared with $11.1 million, or $0.34 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2015 and $10.3 million, or $0.32 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2014. Net income increased by 21% to $28.6 million for the six months ended June 30, 2015 from $23.5 million for the six months ended June 30, 2014. Total assets increased to a record $5.8 billion at June 30, 2015, driven by 35% loan growth and 46% deposit growth year over year.
