Return on average assets of 1.46 percent and average common equity of 14.3 percent
Returned 76 percent of second quarter earnings to shareholders
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) today reported net income of $1,483 million for the second quarter of 2015, or $0.80 per diluted common share, compared with $1,495 million, or $0.78 per diluted common share, in the second quarter of 2014.
