Canaccord Genuity Raised Price Target After Meeting with Cavium (CAVM) CEO
June 8, 2015 9:22 AM EDTCanaccord Genuity reiterates a Buy rating on Cavium Networks (NASDAQ: CAVM), and raised the price target to $89.00 (from $77.00), after meeting with CEO Syed Ali. Cavium announced several design wins with leading ODMs and OEMs. Analyst Matthew Ramsay anticipates continued strong sales growth.

June 4, 2015 7:40 AM EDTFBR Capital analyst Christopher Rolland commented on the state of M&A in the semiconductor space. Rolland notes if we continue at the pace of consolidation set thus far this year, 32% of all U.S. publically traded semiconductor companies will be acquired in 2015. He said while this rate run-rate is likely not sustainable they above-average rates of consolidation for the remainder of this cycle.
