Shake Shack Announces First Quarter 2015 Financial Results
May 13, 2015 4:01 PM EDTNEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Shake Shack Inc. (Shake Shack or the Company) (NYSE: SHAK), today reported financial results for the first quarter ended April 1, 2015, a period that included 13 weeks.
Financial Highlights for the First Quarter 2015:
Total revenue increased 56.3% to $37.8 million. Shack sales increased 59.2% to $36.0 million. Same-Shack sales increased 11.7%. Shack-level operating profit*, a non-GAAP measure, increased 78.3% to $9.3 million. Adjusted EBITDA*, a non-GAAP measure, increased 94.0% to $7.0 million.
