Microchip Technology (NASDAQ: MCHP) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.3575 per share, or $1.43 annualized.
The dividend will be payable on June 4, 2015, to stockholders of record on May 21, 2015, with an ex-dividend date of May 19, 2015.

Microchip Technology Incorporated (NASDAQ: MCHP) and Micrel, Incorporated (NASDAQ: MCRL) today announced that Microchip has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Micrel for $14.00 per share. Micrel shareholders may elect to receive the purchase price in either cash or shares of Microchip common stock.
