Kapstone (KS) to Acquire Victory Packaging in Net $515M Deal
May 5, 2015 7:17 AM EDTKapstone (NYSE: KS) and Victory Packaging/Golden State Container jointly announced that they have signed an agreement for KapStone to acquire the assets of Victory Packaging in a cash-free, debt-free transaction for $615 million in cash, subject to post-closing adjustments. In addition, two contingent earnouts totaling $45 million could be payable two and a half to four years after the close and are based on the continued strong growth of the business. Kapstone (KS) Misses Q1 EPS by 11c
May 4, 2015 5:16 PM EDTKapstone (NYSE: KS) reported Q1 EPS of $0.30, $0.11 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $546.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $574.9 million.
