MSA Announces First Quarter Results
April 27, 2015 6:13 PM EDTPITTSBURGH, April 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --Â Global safety equipment manufacturer MSA Safety Incorporated (NYSE: MSA) today reported results for the first quarter of 2015.
Quarterly Highlights
Reported revenue was $257 million, down 3 percent from the first quarter of 2014. Income from continuing operations was $9 million, or $0.25 per diluted share. Adjusted earnings were $16 million, or $0.42 per diluted share. While quarterly reported revenue was down 3 percent on weaker foreign currencies, local currency revenue increased 4 percent, driven by 7 percent growth in core products.
