Waste Connections Reports First Quarter 2015 Results

(NYSE: WCN) today announced its results for the first quarter of 2015. Revenue totaled $506.1 million, a 5.1% increase over revenue of $481.7 million in the year ago period. Operating income was $101.9 million compared to $99.9 million in the first quarter of 2014. Adjusted EBITDA* in the first quarter of 2015 was $168.3 million, or 33.3% of revenue, compared to $164.1 million in the prior year period. Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, excludes the impact of items such as acquisition-related costs, as shown in the detailed reconciliation in the attached...
