Hortonworks (HDP) IPO Opens Up 50%
December 12, 2014 10:44 AM ESTToday's IPO for Hortonworks, Inc. (NASDAQ: HDP) opened for trading at $24 after pricing 6,250,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $16 per share, above the expected $12-$14 range.
All of the shares are being offered by Hortonworks. In addition, Hortonworks has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 937,500 additional shares of common stock from Hortonworks.
Triton Research rates Hortonworks 5.11, which compares to their average IPO score of 6.55
