Hon Hai Precision (Foxconn) is giving a little boost to Apple, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) on Monday.
The contract electronics maker reported record revenue of NT$3.9 trillion with net income of NT$94.8 billion (about $3.2 billion). The company saw benefit as Apple broadened its offerings with three new iPad models and the revamped iPhone 5, which was released later in 2012.
Previous years have seen Apple release just iPad in a calendar year.
Foxconn might get another boost this year on speculation of a wearable iOS device as well as lower-cost iPhone in addition to the regular model. No rumors have been confirmed by Apple as of yet.
Apple is indicated for a higher open Monday.
