Refuting earlier claims by Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) Eric Schmidt, Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) said Thursday afternoon that there was no Google Now for iOS apps waiting for approval in the App Store.
Citing a company rep on the information, TheVerge says there are no Google apps awaiting review, much less caught up because of red tape. That includes both new apps and updates.
Schmidt earlier commented that the Google Now for iOS app is suck in the approval process to make it to Apple's App Store, saying some Search features would need to be tweaked.
Whether or not Google pulled the app to make changes or not is unclear.
Shares of Google are down 0.4 percent in afternoon trading.
