Piligrims Pride Corp. (PPC) Swings to Q1 Profit of 18c/Share

Piligrims Pride Corp. (NYSE: PPC) reported Q1 EPS of 18 cents, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.05. The company posted a loss of 54 cents per share in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.9 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.96 billion.
