Beazer Homes USA, Inc. (NYSE: BZH) reported Q3 loss of ($0.75), $0.33 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.42). Revenue for the quarter came in at $172.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $231.8 million.
Total new orders from continuing operations were: 1,215 homes, a 24% increase from the prior year, and a 4% increase from the prior quarter. Total home closings from continuing operations were: 791 homes, a 49% decrease from the prior year, but a 40% increase from the second quarter.
