Alzamend Neuro, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALZN) announced it has received notification from Nasdaq that it has regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(b)(1), which requires a minimum stockholders' equity of $2.5 million.
According to the company's quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended July 31, 2026, filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on September 10, 2026, Alzamend reported stockholders' equity of $5,802,680. Nasdaq confirmed the matter is closed.
The compliance issue originated on March 20, 2026, when Nasdaq notified Alzamend that it did not meet the minimum market value of listed securities requirement. The company was given 45 days to submit a compliance plan, which Nasdaq accepted, extending the deadline to September 16, 2026.
CEO Stephan Jackman stated the company's focus returns to advancing its drug candidate AL001 through four Phase II clinical trials in partnership with Massachusetts General Hospital. He noted that a healthy human cohort initiated in May 2025 completed its clinical portion in November 2025, with topline data reported in March 2026. A bipolar disorder cohort was initiated in April 2026, with three additional cohorts planned for patients with Alzheimer's disease, major depressive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
