Claritev names Meta AI researcher Ben Letham to its board

Claritev Corporation (NYSE: CTEV) has appointed Ben Letham to its board of directors, effective September 14, 2026, according to a company press release.



Letham currently serves as a research scientist at Meta (Nasdaq: META), where he leads cross-company research focused on applying technical and scientific work to business operations. He has co-authored more than 30 research papers on applied artificial intelligence and is known for co-creating Prophet, an open-source forecasting tool designed to help non-experts extract insights from data.



Letham earned a Ph.D. in Operations Research from MIT, with a focus on interpretable models for decision-making, and began his career as a research assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital.



Travis Dalton, CEO and President of Claritev, said in the statement that Letham "brings world-class expertise in AI and innovation, grounded in real-world experience," adding that the appointment "reflects our continued evolution as an innovative, AI-forward company focused on solving real challenges for healthcare consumers."



Claritev provides technology-enabled healthcare solutions and serves more than 750 healthcare payers, over 100,000 employers, 60 million consumers, and 1.4 million contracted providers.
