Cronos Group extends cannabis acquisition deadline to October 2026

Cronos Group Inc. (NASDAQ: CRON) has amended its share purchase agreement related to the planned acquisition of CanAdelaar B.V., a licensed cannabis grower participating in the Dutch Controlled Cannabis Supply Chain Experiment.
According to a company statement, the amendment extends the Long Stop Date of the agreement from September 9, 2026, to October 15, 2026. The deal involves Cronos Group's indirect wholly owned subsidiary, CGM B.V., acquiring all issued and outstanding shares of CanAdelaar B.V. from sellers "Ring" International Holding AG and Landewyck Tobacco S.A.
CanAdelaar B.V. is one of ten licensed cannabis growers in the Dutch Controlled Cannabis Supply Chain Experiment. The original share purchase agreement was dated December 9, 2025, and this is the second amendment to that agreement. All other terms of the agreement remain in effect.
