Ball Announces Investment in New Manufacturing Facility in Uttar Pradesh, India

WESTMINSTER, Colo., Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Ball Corporation (NYSE: BALL), a global leader in sustainable aluminum packaging solutions, today announced plans to further expand its manufacturing footprint in India with a new beverage can manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh.

With two established facilities in India located in Taloja, Maharashtra, and Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, Ball will now invest in a new two-line beverage can manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh, expected to be operational in 2029.

As demand for sustainable aluminum packaging grows across India, Ball remains committed to investing alongside its customers. Recent investments in Taloja and Sri City have strengthened Ball's presence in the market, and the new greenfield investment in Uttar Pradesh is the next step in Ball's commitment to the growing Indian market. The project is expected to generate strong EVA, is supported by customer contracts and is consistent with Ball's guidance that capital expenditures will average depreciation and amortization over time.
