Intapp launches DealCloud plug-in for ChatGPT for Financial Services

Intapp (NASDAQ: INTA) has released a DealCloud with Celeste plug-in for ChatGPT for Financial Services, allowing financial services professionals to access their firm's client, deal, and relationship data through the ChatGPT interface.

Celeste is Intapp's AI tool designed to surface firm-specific knowledge, including client records, fund and investor data, and deal history. ChatGPT for Financial Services, which is built on GPT-6 Astra, combines financial data with AI reasoning to assist teams with research, financial models, and client materials.

According to the company, approximately 1,700 of the thousands of firms that use Intapp operate in private capital and investment banking. The plug-in is available to eligible Intapp clients.

Intapp states that its governance framework enforces material non-public information rules, information barriers, and independence obligations within the platform, and that these controls extend to data accessed through the ChatGPT plug-in.

But they don't know your firm: who you cover, what you've committed to, what your people are and aren't permitted to see," said Thad Jampol, co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Intapp. "Intapp built Celeste to be that intelligence, and we're proud to bring this plug-in into ChatGPT for Financial Services for the world's leading financial firms."
