Joby Aviation names Sergey Novikov as principal accounting officer

Joby Aviation (NYSE: JOBY) has appointed Sergey Novikov as its Principal Accounting Officer, effective September 2, 2026, according to a company statement.

Novikov, 57, has served as the company's Controller since June 2021. He previously held the role of acting principal accounting officer from December 13, 2024, through May 29, 2025.

Before joining Joby Aviation, Novikov worked at Varian Medical Systems as Sr. Director, Americas Controller from June 2018 to June 2021, where he oversaw accounting and reporting operations across North and South America. He began his career at Price Waterhouse and holds a certified public accountant license in California.
