European natural gas rises above €80
Investing.com -- European natural gas prices climbed above €80 per megawatt-hour on Wednesday for the first time in more than three years. Benchmark futures increased as much as 6.8% to €80.98, reaching the highest level since January 2023.
Prices have more than doubled since the start of the war in the Middle East. The current levels remain below the peaks seen during the energy crisis.
