Rogers adds Sportsnet+ content to Xfinity TV packages for free

Rogers Communications (TSX: RCI.A, RCI.B; NYSE: RCI) announced it will add exclusive Sportsnet+ content to Rogers Xfinity TV packages at no additional cost, starting September 29, according to a press release from the company.

Customers with Sportsnet included in their Rogers Xfinity TV package will receive three new digital channels carrying content previously exclusive to the Sportsnet+ add-on subscription, which is valued at $12.99 per month. The added content includes over 150 NHL games, among them Monday Night Hockey and more than 100 additional matchups.

Customers are not required to take any action to access the new channels.

"By adding content exclusive to Sportsnet+ into our TV packages, we're bringing more value to Rogers Xfinity customers and making it easier for them to seamlessly catch all the action," said Bret Leech, President, Residential at Rogers.
