KBR wins 3-year U.S. government radio frequency contract

KBR (NYSE: KBR) has been awarded a three-year Time and Materials contract to provide radio frequency engineering and modernization services for an undisclosed U.S. government customer, according to a company press release.

The contract, won through KBR's Mission Technology Solutions business, covers end-to-end manufacturing capabilities for mission-critical systems. Work includes precision engineering, advanced materials, process control, and compliance with defense-grade standards. KBR said it has supported this program for more than 40 years.

"This award underscores the trust our customer places in KBR to help sustain and modernize mission-essential radio frequency capabilities that must be ready when needed," said Jay Lennon, Senior Vice President of Mission Technology Solutions.

KBR's Mission Technology Solutions business is expected to be spun off as an independent public company in January 2027 under the name Trinzic. The company said Trinzic will launch with more than $5 billion in annual revenue, approximately 18,000 employees, and an established portfolio of contracts and partnerships.
