NextEra Energy plans investor meetings to discuss growth and Dominion deal

NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NEE) announced that members of its senior management team will participate in investor meetings throughout September and into early October, according to a press release from the Juno Beach, Florida-based company.
The meetings are expected to cover long-term growth-rate expectations, among other topics. The announcement also references a pending merger with Dominion Energy, Inc., a Virginia-based utility company.
In connection with the proposed transaction, NextEra Energy filed a registration statement on Form S-4 with the Securities and Exchange Commission on July 9, 2026, which was declared effective on July 23, 2026. A definitive joint proxy statement/prospectus was filed and mailed to shareholders of both companies on or about July 28, 2026.
