Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and Google Cloud have launched the Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group, a joint initiative aimed at helping enterprise clients deploy and scale Google's Gemini Enterprise AI platform.
The group will draw on Accenture's existing base of nearly 50,000 Google Cloud-skilled professionals and plans to establish a 1,000-person forward deployed engineer workforce. It will also expand Gemini Enterprise training and certification programs across Accenture's workforce.
The group will focus on four areas: increasing adoption of Gemini Enterprise through proprietary accelerators and implementation frameworks, building industry-specific solutions, bridging AI experimentation and enterprise-scale deployment through dedicated capability centers, and driving adoption of Gemini Enterprise-built capabilities.
According to the companies, YouTube used the partnership to deploy a Gemini Enterprise agent during NFL Sunday Ticket surge demand, which they say boosted customer sentiment by 11% and reduced average handle time by 37%.
"The Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group will help clients achieve these outcomes faster, bringing together the talent, advanced AI and data capabilities, and industry expertise needed to reinvent with confidence and create value at scale," said Julie Sweet, chair and CEO of Accenture.
Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, said the group "significantly expands the expertise and resources available to help our customers deliver real business value."
The new group builds on prior joint efforts, including the companies' Generative and Agentic AI Center of Excellence and Gemini Enterprise Acceleration Program. Accenture was named Google Cloud's 2026 Global Services Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive year, according to the press release.
Yugal Joshi, partner at Everest Group, said the formation "reflects an evolution in how leading service providers are structuring their commitment to Google Cloud AI delivery," adding that it responds to "growing buyer demand for partners that can support AI-led growth and translate AI investments into production-grade outcomes."
