Frontier Power USA ("FPUSA"), a long-duration energy storage development and investment platform backed by funds managed by Cerberus Capital Management, Eos Energy Enterprises (Nasdaq: EOSE), and Hudson Bay Capital Management, announced the appointment of four senior executives to lead its operations.
The appointments include Jay Bellows as Chief Executive Officer, Mark Klein as Head of Development, Nitin Gupta as Head of Capital Formation, and Jay Legault as Vice President of Operations.
According to a company statement, the team has collectively developed over 20 gigawatts of energy storage across major U.S. power markets, including ERCOT, CAISO, PJM, and NYISO.
Bellows previously served as CEO of KORE Power and as President and CEO of Northern Reliability, Inc., which has deployed more than 1,000 energy storage systems globally. Klein was a co-founder of Broad Reach Power, which was sold to ENGIE in 2023 and remains the largest battery energy storage business in Texas. Gupta served as Senior Vice President of Finance and M&A at Broad Reach Power and most recently as CFO of Voltwise Power, a storage developer operating in the United Kingdom and Germany. Legault previously worked at Ontario Power Generation's Darlington Nuclear Plant, with more than 13 years in the energy sector.
FPUSA also identified Stella Energy Solutions as its designated execution partner, noting that Klein and Gupta worked with Stella's principals at Broad Reach Power, where the group delivered approximately 350 megawatts across 17 utility-scale battery projects in under 36 months.
"We have assembled a team that has already built the storage platforms others are now working to replicate," Bellows said in the statement.
