Investing.com -- Airbus identified a production quality problem with an A330 aircraft, leading to slower deliveries during the summer months, the company said Thursday.
The European planemaker found an isolated quality issue on the horizontal tail plane of an A330 jet before delivery. The company confirmed the problem after it was initially reported by Bloomberg.
Airbus said it has identified the root cause of the issue. A330 deliveries have now resumed following the slowdown that occurred during the summer period.
