Venture Global closes $3B revolving credit facility for LNG expansion
Venture Global, Inc. announced that its subsidiary Venture Global LNG, Inc. has closed a $3,000,000,000 364-day senior secured revolving credit facility.
According to the company's press release, proceeds from the facility will be used for general corporate purposes, including funding project costs for the CP2 and Plaquemines bolt-on expansions ahead of their respective final investment decisions (FIDs).
Bank of America, N.A. served as Coordinating Lead Arranger and Sole Bookrunner and will also serve as Administrative Agent. Additional Coordinating Lead Arrangers include BBVA, Goldman Sachs, ING, J.P. Morgan, Mizuho, MUFG, NBC, RBC, Scotia, SMBC, U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo. Barclays, Santander, and Deutsche Bank served as Joint Lead Arrangers.
Venture Global is an Arlington, Virginia-based liquefied natural gas producer and exporter. The company's projects — Calcasieu Pass, Plaquemines LNG, and CP2 LNG — are located in Louisiana along the Gulf of America.
