ICF (NASDAQ: ICFI) was awarded a $20 million recompete contract in the second quarter of 2026 to serve as lead implementer for an energy efficiency program supporting a consortium of Northeast utilities and service providers, according to a company statement.
The contract covers a portfolio of new construction, renovation and multifamily energy efficiency and electrification programs. ICF's work will include workforce development, training, incentive processing, and data reporting and analysis.
The company said it will use its ICF Sightline platform to analyze energy demand, predict grid stress and personalize energy management programs for customers.
"The consortium is helping builders, developers and homeowners make energy efficiency and electrification part of residential construction from the start," said Kyle Wiggins, senior vice president for energy, environment and infrastructure at ICF.
ICF, based in Reston, Va., said it has supported the consortium's residential new construction program for nearly two decades.
