SharonAI Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: SHAZ) has appointed David Burns as Chief Operating Officer, effective September 7, 2026, according to a press release from the Australian AI infrastructure company.
Burns brings more than 35 years of experience in technology, telecommunications and services businesses across Australia, the United States, Europe and Asia. He previously served as Group Executive of Telstra Enterprise, where he led the company's Australian business-to-business and international portfolio, and has also held senior roles at IBM.
Alongside the appointment, Andrew Leece, SharonAI's current COO and co-founder, will transition to the role of Head of Strategic Partnerships and Co-founder. In that capacity, Leece will focus on the company's priority customer, data center and strategic relationships.
Chief Executive Officer James Manning said the changes are intended to establish clearer accountability as the company scales its multi-site, multi-country AI infrastructure platform. "These appointments establish clear accountability across operational delivery, infrastructure capacity and strategic partnerships," Manning said.
Both changes take effect September 7, 2026.
