Kontoor Brands names C.J. King to lead Helly Hansen North America Sport

Kontoor Brands, Inc. (NYSE: KTB) announced that C.J. King will join the company as General Manager of Helly Hansen North America Sport, effective August 31.
In the role, King will oversee commercial strategy and marketplace execution for Helly Hansen's North America Sport business. He will report to Børre Hegbom, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Helly Hansen.
King joins from Arc'teryx, where he spent ten years in senior leadership positions, including VP North American Wholesale, VP/GM North America, and VP Global Commercial. In those roles, he led wholesale and retail channels in North America and contributed to the brand's global omnichannel strategy.
Prior to Arc'teryx, King held roles at Smartwool, PEARL iZUMi, and The North Face.
"C.J. brings a proven ability to lead high-performing commercial organizations, build deep connections with technical outdoor consumers and translate premium brand strength into sustainable growth," Hegbom said in a statement.
Kontoor Brands holds the Wrangler, Lee, and Helly Hansen brands.
