Alcon prices €500M senior notes due 2033
Alcon Inc. (SIX/NYSE: ALC) has priced a public offering of €500 million in aggregate principal amount of 3.875% senior notes due 2033, according to a company statement.
The notes will be issued by Alcon Finance Corporation, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Alcon Inc., and will be fully and unconditionally guaranteed on a senior basis by Alcon Inc.
Alcon has applied to have the notes admitted to the official list of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and to trading on the Euro MTF market.
The offering is expected to close on September 2, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
Alcon said it intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include the refinancing, in whole or in part, of existing debt of the group.
