Dover Precision Components, a unit of Dover (NYSE: DOV), announced it is opening its Innovation Lab testing services to original equipment manufacturers and end users, according to a press release.
The 12,000-square-foot lab, located in Houston, Texas, has operated since 2022 as an internal research and development facility. The company is now offering external access to its testing capabilities for product validation and development work related to rotating and reciprocating machinery.
Services available through the lab include prototype validation, failure mode and root cause analysis, accelerated lifecycle testing, regulatory and compliance testing, custom test rigs, and thermal, mechanical, chemical, optical, and tribological characterization.
The lab also supports testing for hydrogen economy applications, including wear analysis in high-pressure hydrogen environments.
"When your reputation is built on precision, reliability, and performance, testing is not just an option, it's a competitive advantage," said Burak Bekisli, Director of Innovation at Dover Precision Components.
Dover Precision Components serves the oil and gas, power generation, marine, industrial, chemical, and general processing markets. Its product portfolio includes hydrodynamic bearings, active magnetic bearings, sealing technologies, and reciprocating compressor components across brands including Waukesha Bearings, Bearings Plus, Inpro/Seal, and Cook Compression.
