Ocean Power Technologies regains NYSE compliance after late 10-K filing
Ocean Power Technologies, Inc. (NYSE American: OPTT) received a notice from NYSE Regulation on Aug. 14, 2026, stating the company was not in compliance with continued listing standards due to its failure to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended April 30, 2026, by the Aug. 13, 2026 deadline.
The company filed the Form 10-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Aug. 19, 2026, one day after receiving the notice, curing the filing delinquency. According to the company's statement, it has regained compliance with the exchange's continued listing standards.
Under Section 1007 of the NYSE American Company Guide, the company had six months from the date of the filing delinquency, or until Feb. 13, 2027, to file the report. Had the company failed to meet that deadline, the exchange could have, at its discretion, granted an additional six-month cure period.
Ocean Power Technologies is headquartered in Monroe Township, New Jersey, with an additional office in Richmond, California.
