Boxlight outlines K-12 edtech integration strategy for campus systems

Boxlight Corporation (Nasdaq: BOXL) has outlined a strategy to position itself as a provider of integrated classroom technology, campus communication, and safety solutions for K-12 school districts, according to a press release from the company.

The Atlanta-based company said its Symphony platform serves as the centerpiece of this approach, combining paging, intercom, visual alerting, scheduling, and emergency notifications into a single system. Boxlight also recently introduced the Symphonic Series of communication endpoints as part of that platform's expansion.

The company frames its portfolio around three functions: classroom instruction through interactive displays, audio, and software; campus-wide communication through digital signage, clocks, and messaging; and safety through emergency notifications and partnerships with safety platforms.

"Our customers are telling us they want fewer vendors, simpler management, and better integration," said Hank Nance, President and COO at Boxlight. "By bringing classroom technology, communication, and safety together, we help districts reduce operational complexity while creating a foundation that can scale with future needs."

Boxlight said it plans to expand its focus on campus communication and infrastructure opportunities, strengthen strategic partnerships, and advance account-based marketing. The company also said it aims to grow recurring software and services revenue over time, building on its existing CleverTouch interactive display and digital signage portfolio.
