SLB wins contract to restore offshore production for Brunei Shell

SLB (NYSE: SLB) has been awarded a contract by Brunei Shell Petroleum to support production restoration from shut-in wells across multiple offshore fields in Brunei, according to a company press release.
The contract covers subsurface evaluation, well candidate selection, engineering, and offshore execution. Project management, intervention services, monitoring, metering, and marine logistics are combined within a single coordinated execution model.
The project marks the first deployment of SLB's integrated production restoration solution for Brunei Shell Petroleum. The program aligns with standard Well, Reservoir and Facility Management methodology through coordinated surveillance, engineering, and intervention planning.
Gokhan Yarim, senior vice president of Integration at SLB, said: "Building on our long collaboration in the region, this contract reflects a shared commitment to maximizing value from existing offshore resources."
No financial terms of the contract were disclosed.
