Babcock & Wilcox redeems $61.4M in senior notes due 2026

Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: BW) announced it completed the redemption of $61.4 million in aggregate principal amount of its 6.50% Senior Notes due 2026 on August 14, 2026.
The notes were redeemed at 100% of their principal amount, plus accrued and unpaid interest. No notes from the series remain outstanding following the transaction.
The notes were originally issued under an indenture dated February 12, 2021, with The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A. serving as trustee.
Cameron Frymyer, Chief Financial Officer of the Akron, Ohio-based company, said in a statement: "The successful retirement of this senior debt reflects the progress we have made in strengthening our financial position."
